ABOUT HIMJOY
Himjoy was born in Himachal’s apple orchards with a simple idea, to turn orchard waste into opportunity. Today, it works closely with farmers to reduce open burning, create biodegradable alternatives, and build a cleaner, locally powered green economy.
Himjoy was conceptualized at Jaypee University of Information Technology, Solan, during its incubation program.
Recognized by Startup India under DPIIT, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India.

To convert apple tree pruning waste into eco-friendly fuels, farming inputs and biodegradable products, while increasing farmers’ income and reducing air and soil pollution in Himachal Pradesh.

We increase farmer income by buying apple pruning waste directly from orchards, helping growers turn discarded branches into an additional source of earnings.
We close the waste loop by transforming orchard residues into useful products, ensuring nothing valuable is burned, dumped, or wasted.
We develop biodegradable alternatives like bio-tiles, bio-bricks, mulch boards, and bio-mats that replace plastic and chemical-based materials.
We produce biomass briquettes and pellets that provide a greener fuel option for homes and industries, reducing dependence on coal and fossil fuels.
